As a Simulation and Modeling Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our research and development efforts by creating and implementing simulation workflows.
This position is instrumental in contributing to the design, development, and optimization of various models using cutting-edge techniques and tools.

Position SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Simulation and Modeling Scientist to join our dynamic team.
This Simulation and Modeling Scientist will be a key contributor in our algorithm team working on innovating and developing new research, and product features for our cardiac Electrophysiology mapping system.
This will involve design, implementation, and analysis of physics-based simulation workflows, to guide the development of our cutting-edge cardiac mapping and ablation technologies.
Key ResponsibilitiesFollowing are the some of the major requirements for the role.
Additional responsibilities, tasks and duties will be assigned and required as needed.
Desing, develop and implement simulation workflows using commercial and/or open-source tools to model high voltage electric pulses and their effects on cardiac tissues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret and integrate simulation results into the design and optimization algorithms and software tools used in our product.
Conduct in-depth studies on electroporation phenomena in cardiac tissues using advanced modeling techniques.
Analyze simulation results to gain insights into the interactions between high voltage electric pulses and cardiac cells.
Design and execute simulations to visualize and analyze electric fields inside the body for impedance catheter navigation.
Use Data-Driven and/or Machine Learning techniques to design and protype models for predicting the outcome of cardiac ablation in both short and long terms.
Evaluation, adoption, and refinement of prototype algorithms developed by our engineers, scientists, and consultant.
Contribute to the improvement and optimization of catheter navigation systems through simulation-based insights.
Collaborate with teams working on magnetic localization technologies to integrate simulation results into system design.
Maintains, updates, and documents design requirements throughout the entire system life cycle.
Builds consensus and gains support of key stakeholders.
Contributions greatly impact the overall team's objectives.
Coordinates across and within the organization to determine appropriate resources and budget to complete projects in the most-efficient manner.

Experience, Education and Skills RequiredBelow are the minimum skills, formal education, certifications or training, and practical experience required to perform the general functions and duties of the role.
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and minimum of 6 years of related experience and/or Master's degree, and/or PhD in a scientific/engineering discipline; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with commercial simulation software such COMSOL Multiphysics (or other similar products).
Experience with open-source FEM tools such as FEniCS, FreeFEM, MFEM or similar packages for electromagnetic simulations is a plus.
Experience with MATLAB, C/C++, for signal processing, data acquisition and analysis, and algorithm development.
Ability to explain complex architecture, design patterns and new technology to technical team membersBackground in Data Science and or Machine Learning is a plus.
Demonstrates technical expertise and implementing innovative solutions.
Regularly collaborates with others and provides independent thought in suggesting and influencing design and research strategies.
Works on complex problems in which analysis of situations or data requires an in depth evaluation and may impact future concepts and technology.
May be required to actively contribute to regulatory filings, patent applications and other industry related publications.
